Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps to Testify before Murphy's Oversight Panel on Anti-Doping Controls

Tomorrow, February 28, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. ET, Chairman Tim Murphy (R-PA) will oversee a Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations (O&I) hearing on anti-doping entitled: "Ways to Improve and Strengthen the International Anti-Doping System." Among the witnesses who will testify is Olympic swimmer, 23-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 28-time Olympic Medalist, Michael Phelps.

"The Olympic Games represent the greatest athletes in the world, and we want to preserve the integrity of competition, and ensure clean sport," said Chairman Murphy. "I trust this will be an important discussion to protect the revered distinction both the Olympic Games and their world class athletes hold."
